Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to assure you that all staff and governors at Montreal C of E Primary School are working very hard towards the reopening of school.
Our first priority will be to support those children of Key workers where children are unable to stay at home. We will then look at how we can support those most vulnerable including those with Education Health Care plans. These elements will take place before moving to a wider opening for pupils in eligible year groups. I hope you can understand that we want to ensure that the school is as safe as it can be for both the children and their families and our staff team.
We are waiting Local Authority guidance and I do not wish to give dates that may change as a result of this. More information on reopening will be given by the end of Thursday.
I would like to thank you for your honesty and support in talking through with your child’s teacher your feelings about sending your child back to school. This is a tricky and emotional time and there will be families in many different situations. All families will need to consider their needs, concerns and vulnerabilities and we will support you in anyway we can, whether this is at home or in school.
Stay safe and take care.
