We have a strong safeguarding culture at Montreal Primary School. Safeguarding is our highest priority in order to protect the welfare and wellbeing of every child in school. We listen to our pupils and take seriously what they tell us.
All staff and Governors are trained in safeguarding and hold a Level 1 certificate in Safeguarding children.
In addition we have a team of staff who are trained at both level 2 and level 3 for Safeguarding.
Keeping children safe is everyone's responsibility.
The Designated Safeguarding Leads at Montreal Church of England Primary School are Mrs Wilson and Mrs Bell .
The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs Little and Miss Freestone.
Our safeguarding link governor is Mrs Ross.
